R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The lives of Steve and Amy Bruno of Austin have been |
|
forever enriched by the adoption of their adorable new son, |
|
Alexander Peter Theodore Bruno; and |
|
WHEREAS, Alexander weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce, and measured 19 |
|
inches in length when he was born on May 12, 2015; his long-awaited |
|
arrival has also brought great happiness to the other members of his |
|
family, including his grandparents, Patricia Malia Bruno, Theodore |
|
Bruno, Peter Gummow, and Mary Catherine Anderson, and his aunts and |
|
uncles, Mary Ellen Bruno, Anne Bruno and Eldon Rude, Betsy Gummow, |
|
and Lisa and Ryan Begley; and |
|
WHEREAS, In welcoming Alexander into their hearts and home, |
|
Mr. and Mrs. Bruno have made a lasting commitment to provide their |
|
son the support and affection that he will need to thrive in this |
|
world, and in so doing, they have sweetened all of their lives |
|
beyond measure; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby recognize that there is no greater gift in life |
|
than adoptive parents who provide a loving home and righteous |
|
upbringing to a child; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That the house of representatives applaud Steve and |
|
Amy Bruno on their decision to adopt and encourage other Texans to |
|
follow Mr. and Mrs. Bruno's fine example; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the Bruno family as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
