R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, The Texas Black Expo is holding its annual
  Juneteenth Summer Celebration in Houston on June 11-14, 2015; and
         WHEREAS, Governed by community leaders and civically engaged
  individuals from across the state, the Texas Black Expo is a
  nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering business growth and
  development and to educating and introducing young people to
  entrepreneurship; throughout the year, the group hosts monthly
  "Lunch and Learn" business development seminars; and
         WHEREAS, The signature event of the TBE, the Juneteenth
  Summer Celebration is the largest cultural marketing trade show in
  the state and draws more than 20,000 attendees each year; the theme
  of the 2015 event is "Building Better Lives"; and
         WHEREAS, Committed to growth and prosperity in the Lone Star
  State, the Texas Black Expo provides invaluable resources and
  opportunities for all its participants, and it is indeed a pleasure
  to recognize the organization at this point in its rich history;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commemorate the 2015 Texas Black Expo Juneteenth
  Summer Celebration and extend to everyone associated with the
  organization sincere best wishes for a meaningful and memorable
  event; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the Texas Black Expo as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
