R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Dr. Belinda Neal of Hideaway has rendered
  exceptional service as president of the Texas Elementary Principals
  and Supervisors Association; and
         WHEREAS, An active member of TEPSA since 1999, Dr. Neal has
  served on its board of directors as well as on a number of the
  association's committees since 2007; she was installed as TEPSA
  president in June 2014, and over the course of her yearlong term,
  her dynamic leadership and deep commitment to education have
  greatly benefited the organization; and
         WHEREAS, Dr. Neal holds bachelor's and master's degrees from
  Stephen F. Austin State University and a doctoral degree in
  education from Baylor University; she has enjoyed an outstanding
  career at the Lindale Independent School District, where she served
  as principal of both the Early Childhood Center and College Street
  Elementary School before she was named assistant superintendent in
  July 2012; a former teacher, she has worked in the Nacogdoches,
  Palestine, and Round Rock districts and as an educational
  consultant for the Region 7 Education Service Center; and
         WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Dr. Neal is blessed with the
  love and support of her husband, Casey Neal, who serves as principal
  of Lindale High School, and she takes tremendous pride in their
  daughter, Macy; and
         WHEREAS, Belinda Neal has been a strong and effective
  advocate for educational leaders in the Lone Star State, and she is
  truly deserving of recognition for her remarkable achievements;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Dr. Belinda Neal on her service as
  president of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors
  Association and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Dr. Neal as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
