A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to constructing facilities for state agencies in the |
|
|
Capitol Complex and the North Austin Complex. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter L, Chapter 2166, Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 2166.555 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 2166.555. CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS IN THE CAPITOL |
|
|
COMPLEX AND THE NORTH AUSTIN COMPLEX. In accordance with this |
|
|
chapter, the commission shall construct: |
|
|
(1) in the Capitol Complex, two office buildings with |
|
|
utility infrastructure; and |
|
|
(2) in the North Austin Complex, as described by the |
|
|
commission's master facilities plan required under Section |
|
|
2166.102, one office building and one parking structure. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The construction of a building or other |
|
|
structure described by this Act is subject to the specific |
|
|
appropriation of funds, whether for one or more such buildings or |
|
|
structures, to the Texas Facilities Commission for that purpose by |
|
|
a general appropriations act of the 84th Legislature. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
