A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the provision of a plan regarding the elimination of |
|
|
toll roads. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Not later than September 1, 2016, the Texas |
|
|
Department of Transportation, in consultation with the comptroller |
|
|
and governor, shall provide each member of the legislature with a |
|
|
plan to eliminate by not later than 2046 all toll roads in this |
|
|
state, including any tolled portion of: |
|
|
(1) Loop 1 Toll; |
|
|
(2) SH 45 Toll; |
|
|
(3) Loop 49 Toll; |
|
|
(4) SH 99 Toll; |
|
|
(5) 183A Toll; |
|
|
(6) SH 255 Toll; |
|
|
(7) 290 Toll Road; |
|
|
(8) SH 550 Toll; |
|
|
(9) Addison Airport Toll Tunnel; |
|
|
(10) Chisolm Trail Parkway; |
|
|
(11) Dallas North Tollway; |
|
|
(12) Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road; |
|
|
(13) Fort Bend Tollway; |
|
|
(14) Fort Bend Westpark Tollway; |
|
|
(15) Hardy Toll Road; |
|
|
(16) International Parkway; |
|
|
(17) Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge; |
|
|
(18) I-10 Toll (Katy Tollway); |
|
|
(19) Mountain Creek Lake Bridge; |
|
|
(20) President George Bush Turnpike; |
|
|
(21) Sam Houston Tollway; |
|
|
(22) Sam Rayburn Tollway; and |
|
|
(23) Westpark Tollway. |

|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
