A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

|
relating to printing requirements for state agencies. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 2051, Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 2051.023 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 2051.023. REQUIRED FONT. (a) A state agency shall |
|
|
print all documents, reports, and publications, to the extent |
|
|
practicable, in an ink-conserving font, such as Garamond font. |
|
|
(b) In this section, "state agency" has the meaning assigned |
|
|
by Section 2051.022. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
