SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 103
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the City of Graham, which is hosting its first annual
  food-truck championship competition on its historic downtown
  square; and
 
         WHEREAS, This inaugural event will draw some of the most
  talented food-truck chefs in Texas to compete for a $10,000 grand
  prize and the Food Truck Champion title; and
 
         WHEREAS, The festivities will also include the Possum Pedal
  Bike Ride, an art show hosted by the Old Post Office Museum, and a
  variety of children's events, and the day will come to a close
  with a concert by renowned Texas musician Robert Earl Keen; and
 
         WHEREAS, Visitors will be traveling from around the state
  to taste some of the best food-truck wares Texas has to offer and
  to enjoy the charm and vitality of America's largest downtown
  square; proceeds of the event will help maintain the unique
  beauty of the historic city; and
 
         WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate to honor the City of
  Graham on the occasion of this exciting inaugural event; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby join the City of Graham in recognizing June
  6, 2015, as Food Truck Championship of Texas on America's Largest
  Downtown Square Day; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the city as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
