SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 121
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Billy J. Morton
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Billy J. Morton, who died January 12,
  2015, at the age of 82; and
         WHEREAS, Billy Morton was born on June 28, 1932, in Dallas,
  to Jimmie and Ida Morton; he served the nation with distinction
  in the United States Navy; and
         WHEREAS, He married Patricia Rose McEnrue in 1952, and they
  enjoyed more than 62 years of marriage together; they raised four
  children, Michael, Vicky, Matthew, and Patti, and were blessed
  with four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Morton had a longtime successful career in the
  oil field industry; he served as a plant foreman with the Magna
  Corporation and later retired from his position with Bolt Fuel
  Oil Company, Incorporated; and
         WHEREAS, He was a man of courage and strength who gave
  unselfishly to others, and his wisdom and valued counsel will not
  be forgotten; and
         WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, father, and
  grandfather, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured
  forever by all who were privileged to share in his life; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Billy J. Morton; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Billy Morton.
