SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 139

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to join The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in recognizing the recipients of the 2015 Presidential Awards; and

WHEREAS, The Presidential Awards honor faculty and staff members for outstanding service in their respective fields; the recipients of these prestigious awards have exhibited a superior degree of commitment to their work and have contributed significantly to the betterment of the institution; and

WHEREAS, Winners of the 2015 Presidential Awards are P. John Hart, Robert Svatek, Alex Bishop, David P. Cappelli, Gregory Ernst, Janna Lesser, Christopher Moreland, William S. Moore, Tony Y. Eng, Julie Cowan Novak, Vivek Singh, Carrie Cooke, Robin Druckman, Melissa Mireles, Laura Monroe, and Veronica Ortega; and

WHEREAS, These dedicated members of the faculty and staff have demonstrated exceptional achievement through their notable creativity, perseverance, and leadership, and their many accomplishments bring great credit to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th Legislature, hereby commend the recipients of the 2015 Presidential Awards from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and extend to all best wishes for further success; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
