SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 167
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Zackary Jerry Kimbrough Jr., who retired on February 3,
  2015, after 32 years of loyal service to the City of Dallas; and
 
         WHEREAS, Mr. Kimbrough began his career in public service
  with a position in the Dallas Police Department; he worked in
  numerous city departments over the years, including the
  Equipment and Building Services division, the Dallas Water
  Utilities division, the Economic Development Department, and the
  Dallas Fire and Rescue Department; and
 
         WHEREAS, While serving the city, he earned a bachelor's
  degree in applied business administration from Dallas Baptist
  University, and he acquired the skills necessary to ascend
  through the ranks of administrative leadership; and
 
         WHEREAS, Wherever he served, Mr. Kimbrough handled his
  responsibilities with exceptional care and dedication; he is
  retiring from the Dallas Police Department, where he first began
  his service to the city; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  84th Legislature, hereby commend Zackary Jerry Kimbrough Jr. on
  his exceptional career and his many contributions to the City
  of Dallas and extend to him best wishes for the future; and, be
  it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
