SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 361
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Sandra Lee Anderson
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
  citizens of Lorena in mourning the loss of Sandra Lee Anderson,
  who died March 7, 2015, at the age of 67; and
         WHEREAS, Sandy Anderson was born on August 22, 1947, to
  Charles and Glendine Sears in Richwood, West Virginia; she
  graduated from Brentwood High School in Brentwood, New York; and
         WHEREAS, She married Charles "Doc" Anderson on August 21,
  1981, and they enjoyed more than 33 years of marriage together;
  she was blessed with a son, Thomas Schmidt and with three
  grandsons, Jonathan Reyes and Bradlee and Jaeson Estes; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Anderson took part in a wide range of
  activities in her adopted hometown of Lorena; she was an advocate
  for the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo and was involved with the
  McLennan County Republican Ladies Club and the McLennan County
  Republican Club; and
         WHEREAS, She was an active participant in her husband's
  work, both as a helper at Anderson Veterinary Hospital and Top
  Notch Ranch and as a dedicated supporter of his political
  campaigns; and
         WHEREAS, She was an accomplished bowler and competed at
  local, state, and national levels with her team, the Byrd House,
  for more than 25 years; she was an avid football fan of the Texas
  Aggies and the Dallas Cowboys; and
         WHEREAS, Sandy Anderson was a woman of warmth and
  compassion who gave unselfishly to others, and her courage during
  her long battle with multiple myeloma, and her enthusiasm for
  living each day to the fullest will not be forgotten by those who
  were privileged to share in her life; and
         WHEREAS, She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and
  grandmother, and she leaves behind memories that will be
  treasured forever by her family and countless friends; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Sandra Lee Anderson; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Sandra Lee Anderson.
