SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 379
|
|
|
WHEREAS, February 2, 2015, was indeed a special day in the |
|
|
lives of Jason and Erika Hassay, for on that day they became the |
|
|
proud parents of a baby boy, Hudson Andrew Hassay; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This handsome bundle of joy weighed 7 pounds, 5 |
|
|
ounces, and measured 19-1/2 inches in length when he made his |
|
|
long-awaited arrival at Saint David's North Austin Medical |
|
|
Center; his delivery was made possible by the appreciated medical |
|
|
advice and assistance of Dr. Sissi Selinger, whose support and |
|
|
reassurance helped alleviate the worries of Hudson's concerned |
|
|
parents; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Hudson's birth has brought great happiness not |
|
|
only to his parents and grandparents, Andrew and Nancy Hassay and |
|
|
Michael and Debbie Pierson, but also to his great aunt and uncle, |
|
|
Beverly and Ken Drummond, his aunts, Lindsey Pierson, Jessica |
|
|
Bishop, and Sheila Malavasi, and his uncles, Jeff Hassay, James |
|
|
Hassay, Buddy Bishop, and Chris Pierson; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from |
|
|
above" (James 1:17), and the proud godparents, Carlos Martinez |
|
|
and Luz Maldonado, extend a special prayer for Hudson, that "the |
|
|
Lord bless him and keep him, the Lord make his face to shine upon |
|
|
him and be gracious to him, and the Lord lift up his countenance |
|
|
upon him and give him peace" (Numbers 6:24-26); and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Hudson Andrew Hassay has already won the hearts of |
|
|
all who have met him, and it is truly a pleasure to welcome this |
|
|
fine young Texan as a new citizen of the Lone Star State; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby congratulate Jason and Erika Hassay on the |
|
|
birth of their son and extend to Hudson Andrew Hassay warmest |
|
|
best wishes for a bright and promising future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the family as an expression of high regard from the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
