SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 380

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize the members of the delegation of Leadership Southwest, who are visiting the State Capitol on March 18, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Leadership Southwest aims to provide members of the Texas Legislature with the information they need to make the best decisions for their constituents in Dallas and Ellis Counties; and

WHEREAS, Members of the organization work with local business leaders, young professionals, and other citizens to keep them informed about policies that affect their lives; and

WHEREAS, Leadership Southwest represents the interests of 12 cities, and many local chambers, school districts, and businesses; the organization is committed to ensuring an excellent quality of life in the region and to giving community leaders the tools they need to succeed; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th Legislature, hereby commend the members of Leadership Southwest for their work to promote thriving communities and extend to them best wishes for an enjoyable visit to Austin; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as a memento of this special day.
