SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 624
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the Ticked About Graffiti Team on the occasion of the
  ninth anniversary of the Paint the Town Project, which is being
  celebrated April 25, 2015, at the Nick Carr Sports Complex in
  Eagle Pass; and
 
         WHEREAS, The Paint the Town Project is an initiative to
  remove unsightly graffiti from buildings, fences, and other
  structures; and
 
         WHEREAS, This exemplary effort is being led by students
  participating in the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program and
  includes the support of a wide range of local, state, and federal
  organizations; participating entities include South Texas Rural
  Health Services, the City of Eagle Pass, Maverick County, the
  Eagle Pass Police Department, the United States Border Patrol,
  the Eagle Pass Housing Authority, and the Eagle Pass Independent
  School District; and
 
         WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that this exceptional program
  receive recognition for its positive impact on the community;
  now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby commend the Ticked About Graffiti Team on its
  commitment to eliminating graffiti and extend to team members
  best wishes for a successful ninth anniversary of the Paint the
  Town Project; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
  honor of this special event.
