SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 752
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the National Association of Chemical Distributors and
  welcome its leaders on the occasion of their visit to the State
  Capitol on May 18, 2015; and
         WHEREAS, The National Association of Chemical Distributors
  was established in 1971 and is an international association of
  chemical distributors and their supply-chain partners; the
  member companies formulate, blend, repackage, store, and market
  products for more than 750,000 customers; and
         WHEREAS, The association aims to be the premier authority
  for chemical distribution in the United States, to strive for
  excellence in its Responsible Distribution Program, to advocate
  sound government policies, and to promote the continuous
  improvement of member companies; and
         WHEREAS, The nearly 450 member and affiliate companies of
  the association represent more than 85 percent of the chemical
  distribution capacity in the nation and 90 percent of the
  industry's gross revenue; and
         WHEREAS, The National Association of Chemical Distributors
  benefits from the outstanding leadership of its president, Eric
  Byer, and its chairman, Mat Brainerd; the association is
  committed to ensuring best practices in the industry, and it is
  indeed deserving of recognition for its contributions to the
  industry in Texas; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby commend the leaders of the National
  Association of Chemical Distributors and all who play a role in
  its valuable services and extend to them best wishes for the
  future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the association as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
