SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 819
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the Jesse H. Jones High School Class of 1975 on the occasion
  of its 40th reunion, which is being held May 22 through 24, 2015; and
 
         WHEREAS, This reunion is an opportunity for class members
  to reminisce about the many high school adventures they shared
  and the reunion activities of years past; and
 
         WHEREAS, The Class of 1975 confronted unique tests as one of
  the early classes to face the challenges of school integration; its
  members managed to avoid many of the difficulties common in those
  days, and instead, students worked together to achieve positive
  results and to set a fine example for others to follow; and
 
         WHEREAS, In gathering together to celebrate their 40th
  reunion, the members of the class of 1975 are expressing their
  longtime commitment to tradition, unity, and loyal friendship; and
 
         WHEREAS, The students of the class of 1975 have become
  leaders in their communities and productive members of society,
  and they deserve to be proud of their many successful endeavors;
  now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Jesse H. Jones
  High School Class of 1975 on their many achievements and extend
  to them best wishes for a memorable 40th reunion; and, be it
  further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the class as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
