SENATE RESOLUTION
|
|
|
BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|
|
Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, That Senate Rule 12.03 be |
|
|
suspended in part as provided by Senate Rule 12.08 to enable the |
|
|
conference committee appointed to resolve the differences on |
|
|
Senate Joint Resolution 5 (proposing a constitutional amendment |
|
|
dedicating a portion of the revenue derived from the state sales |
|
|
and use tax and the tax imposed on the sale, use, or rental of a |
|
|
motor vehicle to the state highway fund) to consider and take |
|
|
action on the following matter: |
|
|
Senate Rule 12.03(1) is suspended to permit the committee |
|
|
to change text not in disagreement in proposed SECTION 3 of the |
|
|
resolution to read as follows: |
|
|
This proposed constitutional amendment shall be submitted to the |
|
|
voters at an election to be held November 3, 2015. |
|
|
Explanation: This change is necessary to provide that the |
|
|
election on the proposed constitutional amendment will be held on |
|
|
November 3, 2015. |
