SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1037
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Phillip Cagle
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the untimely loss
  of Phillip Cagle of Lubbock, who passed away on May 24, 2015, at
  the age of 35; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Phyllis and Glynn Cagle, Phillip Cagle
  was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, on January 15, 1980; he
  attended Louisiana Tech University before joining the United
  States armed forces and serving in Afghanistan; after returning
  to civilian life, he earned a degree from Texas Tech University,
  and he went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as a theater teacher
  at Coronado High School in Lubbock; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Cagle married the love of his life, the former
  Jennifer Dabbs, on September 25, 2004, and the couple nurtured a
  rewarding union that was made even richer with the addition of
  three sons, Raymond, Tucker, and Charlie; and
         WHEREAS, While the death of Phillip Cagle brings great
  sadness to many, cherished memories of time spent in his company
  will long endure in the hearts of all those who held him dear;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Phillip Cagle and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Jennifer Cagle; to his sons, Raymond, Tucker, and Charlie
  Cagle; to his parents, Phyllis and Glynn Cagle; to his siblings,
  Trey and Angela Cagle; to his parents-in-law, Steve and Kathy
  Dabbs; to his brother-in-law, Justin Dabbs, and his wife,
  Melissa; to his sister-in-law, Angela Dabbs; and to his many
  other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Phillip Cagle.
