This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to an unlawful employment practice by an employer whose leave policy does not permit an employee to use leave to care for the employee's foster child. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
