LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 22, 2015

TO:
Honorable Charles Schwertner, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services

FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB77 by González, Mary (Relating to a study of the Dallas Men Against Abuse program.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), with assistance from the other health and human services agencies and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as needed, conduct a study and report to the legislature on the Dallas Men Against Abuse program.

This analysis assumes that any costs to HHSC to implement the provisions of the bill could be absorbed  within current resources. TEA indicates that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
