No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to a database of employers penalized for failure to pay wages or convicted of certain offenses involving wage theft. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
