No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to the exclusion of certain witnesses during a criminal proceeding. The bill would allow the prosecuting attorney to designate certain persons to serve as a court room representative during a criminal proceeding who could not be excluded from the trial.

Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
