The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate a fiscal impact to the state court system. The Juvenile Justice Department does not anticipate a fiscal impact to the state.
Local Government Impact
There may be cost savings associated with prohibiting the use confinement as punishment in jail or a juvenile detention facility; however the reduction in costs are not anticipated to be significant.
