No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to administrative penalties assessed by the Texas Workforce Commission against certain employers for failure to pay wages. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission and the Office of the Attorney General, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
