No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the investigation and resolution of complaints filed against physicians. The Texas Medical Board and the State Office of Administrative Hearings indicate that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be absorbed utilizing current resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
