No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) to provide victim-offender mediation services in accordance with adopted TDCJ policies. TDCJ has determined that the bill would not result in a fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
