No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require the Office of the Attorney General publish a summary report of audits provided by law enforcement agencies related to certain criminal asset forfeiture on its website no later than February 1st each year.
The Office of the Attorney General indicated the costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
