No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code to enhance the penalty for the offense of improper sexual activity with a person in custody under certain circumstances.   This analysis assumes implementing the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact on state correctional agencies, programs, or workloads.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
