No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to create a tourism certificate program to promote tourism and travel throughout the state.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.

The Office of the Governor indicated there would be costs associated with implementation of the bill including website development and 1.0 FTE.
