HB339 by Farias (Relating to leave for certain veterans returning to state employment.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow state employees who are reemployed following military service up to 15 days of leave each fiscal year. The leave would not reduce their other sources of leave and may be used for matters relating to their military service or reintegration into civilian life, including medical or mental health care or employee assistance counseling. Additional leave could be granted by the administrative head of the affected agency.

The Department of Criminal Justice and the Veterans Commission anticipate the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
