IN RE:
HB363 by White, James (Relating to the creation of a task force to conduct a study and develop recommendations on the efficacy of the continuation of daylight saving time in this state.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would establish a seven member task force to conduct a study and develop recommendations on the efficacy of the continuation of daylight saving time in this state.  The bill would allow for the reimbursement of member travel expenses as provided by Chapter 660, Government Code, and the General Appropriations Act.  The bill would require the task force to report its findings and recommendations no later than December 1, 2016 and would abolish the task force on January 1, 2017.

This analysis assumes that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished bill within existing resources.
