HB437 by Raney (Relating to eligibility to participate in health benefit programs for certain state employees reemployed after military service.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Insurance Code to provide insurance coverage on the first day of reemployment for employees who return to their state position upon discharge, separation or release from active military duty. All affected agencies anticipate that any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect on September 1, 2015.
