No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that the public school physical education (PE) curriculum be adapted to accommodate the needs of students with mental disabilities.

The bill has no direct fiscal implications for the Foundation School Program (FSP) and no significant impact on the operations of the Texas Education Agency(TEA).


Local Government Impact

School districts would be required to provide a PE curriculum to accommodate students with mental disabilities.
