No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require a statement be provided at the end of each fiscal year to public officers and employees regarding the availability of paid leave for military service. It is assumed that implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2015.
