No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require school districts to publish in their student handbook whether they have adopted and enforce policies and procedures that prescribe penalties for the use of vapor products.

The bill would require the board of trustees of a school district to prohibit the use or possession of vapor products on school property or at a school-related or school-sanctioned activity on or off school property.


Local Government Impact

No significant administrative costs are anticipated for school districts to amend local policies and publish in the student handbook.
