HB561 by Dutton (Relating to the secrecy of grand jury proceedings.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require state prosecutors to disclose a previous grand jury vote for to grand juries investigating a person accused or suspected of committing an offense that is the same act or omission.

Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
