No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Occupations Code to require the Commission on Law Enforcement to establish a statewide training program related to canine encounters and canine behavior. The Commission on Law Enforcement has indicated that implementing the provisions of the bill would result in no significant fiscal impact. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
