No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to require a hospital to release the remains in certain fetal deaths to parents of the unborn child upon request and in a manner that is appropriate under law and the hospital's policy. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
