No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to add and modify certain definitions. The bill would permit a public utility agency to enter into a public work contract using procedures described by Chapter 2268, Government Code. The bill would permit a public utility agency to contract with a public or private entity for certain purposes and amend procedures in contracting with the entities.
