No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 402 of the Occupations Code to modify restrictions on persons who engage or offer to engage in the fitting and dispensing of hearing instruments. The Department of State Health Services indicates that implementation of the bill could be accomplished within current resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
