IN RE:	HB699 by Nevárez (Relating to requiring public institutions of higher education to establish a policy on campus sexual assault.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require each institution of higher education to adopt a policy on campus sexual assault and make this information available to students, faculty, and staff members. The institutions would be required to post this information on the institution's website. This analysis assumes that any costs for institutions of higher education to implement the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
