No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Property Code to provide that a municipality or a county may not enact or enforce an order or ordinance that would restrict or prohibit a property owner from installing a liquid propane gas tank above the ground on the owner's property if the tank is a reasonable size to supply the residence, but could require the owner to screen the tank from view.
