No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Education Code to allow the board of trustees of a school district to approve a person with professional qualifications to be employed as a school teacher for introductory courses.

The Texas Education Agency estimates there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
