IN RE:	HB855 by Sanford (Relating to the compatibility of state agency websites with certain Internet browsers.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of Information Resources (DIR) to identify the three most commonly used internet browsers and to post a list containing those browsers in a conspicuous location on DIR's website. DIR would be required to update the list at least biennially. Each state agency's website would be required to be compatible with the most recent version of each browser listed by DIR. Based on the response of several agencies, including DIR, it is assumed that costs to implement the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
