The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to relating to an exemption from the veterinary licensing law for certain persons who provide services to an animal shelter. According to information provided by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, any costs associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be absorbed utilizing current resources.
