HB978 by Price (Relating to the designation of the Route 66 Historic Corridor.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code to designate segments of former US Highway 66 as the Route 66 Historic Corridor.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.

The Texas Historical Commission indicated that the costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
