No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 455 of the Occupations Code to classify massage therapy instruction provided by a licensed massage school as a postsecondary education program. The bill would authorize certain licensed massage schools to operate programs at the postsecondary education level. It is anticiapted that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
