IN RE:
HB1280 by Guillen (Relating to the designation of certain rest areas on Interstate Highway 35 in La Salle County as the Leodoro Martinez Jr. Rest Areas.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect markers designating the northbound and southbound rest areas located on Interstate Highway 35 in La Salle County as the Leodoro Martinez Jr. Rest Areas, only if a private grant or donation of funds is made to the department to cover the cost.
Based on the analysis of TxDOT, it is assumed any duties associated with the implementation of the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
