No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to require certain reports of political contributions or expenditures for certain candidates, officeholders and members to be made available on the Internet website of a political subdivision, if applicable. The bill would permit an authority to remove certain address information of a person listed as having made a political contribution. The bill would require certain reports made available on the Internet website to be posted on that website for 5 years.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
