No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to contested cases conducted under the Administrative Procedure Act.

Based on information provided by the Office of the Attorney General, Comptroller of Public Accounts, Office of Administrative Hearings, Department of Licensing and Regulation, Department of Insurance, Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Texas Medical Board, Podiatric Medical Examiners, Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Department of Aging and Disability Services, and the Commission on Environmental Quality, it is assumed that all duties and responsibilities necessary to implement the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing staff and resources.
